The Entrepreneurial Studies Institute (ESI)

“Generating ideas, hatching business, nurturing students’ success.”

Since its foundations in 2003, the Entrepreneurial Studies Institute (ESI) offers instruction to help innovators, entrepreneurs, aspiring and seasoned business owners and operators start and manage successful business ventures.

A degree in entrepreneurship provides you with the skills to start your own venture, work with others to identify business opportunities, join entrepreneurial ventures or work for an established organization.

Entrepreneurship graduates are often in demand by growth-oriented companies wanting to incorporate entrepreneurial vision and innovation in their firms and by companies seeking individuals who have the ability to solve problems creatively and improve creativity.

The objectives of the Entrepreneurial Studies Institute are to enable students to develop a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship and the steps and background required to start a business, such as writing a business plan, funding the business, financial and managerial accounting, sales and marketing, strategic planning, business law, ethics, business management, leadership, business communications and networking. If you would like to learn more about the Entrepreneurial Studies Institute or you would like to discuss an individual learning plan, call 410-777-2066 or e-mail esi@aacc.edu.

The Entrepreneurial Studies Institute recognizes our sponsors who have been a great foundation in supporting the college’s mission of providing individuals with the opportunity to discover and develop their talents, energy and interests, to pursue their unique potentials and to achieve an intellectually, culturally and economically satisfying relationship with society. Such opportunity is easily available and readily accessible to Anne Arundel County residents through various ESI programs.
