AACC Policies

The following pertain to general policies that govern college activities, the Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act and the college's Web site privacy policy.

General College Policies

AACC reserves the right to change any of its policies, courses, regulations, and calendar without notice when it is considered in the best interest of the college. In the event such changes occur, the college will provide notification to students, faculty, and staff via announcements disseminated electronically and/or via printed material and in some cases, through press releases.
All students are responsible for observing all regulations and being aware of the information in the college catalog, schedule of classes, student handbook, and official announcements sent to students’ homes. College policies, the Student Conduct Code and Student Rights and Responsibilities are contained in the college catalog. These policies apply to all areas under the jurisdiction of AACC including areas where activities are sponsored by the college and areas where students of the college are guests. As guests, students will make themselves familiar with any additional regulation of the host institution.

Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act

A report detailing the racial and gender makeup of the full-time, degree-seeking student body and the number of students receiving athletically related financial aid is available from the Admissions and Enrollment Development office and the Records and Registration office. Beginning July 1, 2010, the characteristics of full-time degree-seeking students and student-athletes for fall 2009 are available by viewing the Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act.PDF The college also makes its crime statistics freely available in their Annual Security Report.PDF
