1. How many college credits do I have to have to enroll in to be a full-time student and be eligible to receive health benefits through my parent's health policy? A full-time student is one enrolled for the equivalent of 12 credit hours. Students enrolled for fewer than 12 credit hours are classified as part-time.
2. I am interested in becoming involved in campus activities outside of the classroom. Who should I contact? Contact the Student Life Office at 410-777-2218 to discover the many ways you can complement your academic experience at the college. The Student Activities Office offers co-curricular programs and campus-based social, cultural and recreational opportunities. The short list includes: Student Association, Concert Choir, Black Student Union, The Campus Crier Newspaper, Dance Company, Moonlight Troopers Theater, athletics and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
3. Do I need a parking sticker at the college? How much does it cost to park at the college? Is there public transportation to the college? Parking is free, but a parking permit is required at the AACC at Arundel Mills location only. Students may park in any area not designated as reserved parking or containing a parking meter. MTA Bus 14 Annapolis and Annapolis Transit Route c-40 offers transportation to the main campus in Arnold. Learn more about public transportation to the college and its locations. 4. How can I enroll at Anne Arundel Community College if I am not an American citizen? International Student admissions is located in the Admission's Office, Student Services Center, Suite 100 at the main campus in Arnold. The International Student Advisor can be contacted at 410 777-2246.
