Gifted and Talented Program

The Gifted and Talented program is an opportunity for eligible students, under the age of 16 students who have been identified as having exceptional academic or fine arts talent, to enroll in academic or fine arts subjects not available at their schools.
Recommendations for the Gifted and Talented program are screened by the Gifted and Talented Team comprised of representatives of the Admissions and Enrollment Development office; Counseling, Advising and Retention Services; and related academic department(s). An interview with the nominee will be arranged.
Fine arts students may be asked to audition or to present a portfolio of their work. The final decision to admit is made by the Gifted and Talented Team.
Students admitted to the Gifted and Talented program shall not be allowed to enroll in physical education courses and/or HEA-100.
Students interested in participating in the Gifted and Talented Program are required to submit the following:

- Official School Transcript
- SAT, ACT or Anne Arundel Community College assessment test scores for English (required for any college course). Test scores are required for math only if enrolling in a math course or any course with a math prerequisite.)
- A completed Gifted and Talented Recommendation form
