Counseling, Advising, and Retention Services

If you are not doing well at the end of the one-third point in the term, you will receive an interim grade from your Instructor via regular mail:

• Interim grades are either a U (unsatisfactory) or a UX (failure due to lack of attendance).
• Interim grades recipients are required to meet with an Advisor to draft a success plan. If you receive an interim grade and are truly at a distance from any of AACC’s locations, you can “meet” with your Advisor via your MyAACC e-mail account.
• Compliance with the mandatory advising meeting is recorded.
• Faculty receive a copy of each student’s success contract detailing the steps they have agreed to take to facilitate successful course completion.
