Tuition and Fees
All financial assistance received is first applied against your unpaid tuition and fees for the current semester. The credit is made on your account after the drop/add period has concluded. Please note that audited courses are not eligible for payment by any financial aid programs. Award amounts for scholarships and grants are adjusted to reflect your actual enrollment at the conclusion of the drop/add period. If you are not eligible for financial aid based on your actual enrollment, you must pay all tuition and fees owed. If your total financial aid is not enough to pay your tuition and fees, you must pay the balance by the DUE DATE on your bill.
Books and Supplies
Eligible enrolled students whose grant, scholarship, and/or certified loan funds exceed their charges may be eligible to use Book Advances to charge their books against their pending aid. Eligible students will be notified by e-mail. If you haven't received your advance by e-mail, please login to MyAACC, visit the Self Services tab, then go to the "Financial Aid" section.
The college also offers a Bookstore Line of Credit up to $500 per semester to those using their VA benefits at AACC. The amount spent will be added to your semester bill. It is your responsibility to pay the account in full by the due date of the last payment plan installment. You may log onto MyAACC, select the “Self Service” tab, then “Student”. Under the Financial Aid Link, select “Book Advance”, and complete the book advance process. Please note: You will need to have an AACC VA Enrollment Verification Form on file for the current semester.
If you will not be applying for financial aid, but still need assistance purchasing books, you may be eligible for a Book Payment Plan. All of your payment plan payments must be current with the Cashier’s Office. Book Payment Plans may only be used for books and supplies at the AACC College Store and must be repaid during the semester. Apply at the Financial Aid Office.
If your total financial aid exceeds your tuition, fee and book charges, you will receive the balance of your financial aid in the form of a refund check. You may use these funds to help you pay other education costs such as childcare and transportation.
Students who are employed under these programs will receive a payroll check bi-monthly for all hours worked.
