In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Law (FERPA), a federal law, the college cannot release information contained in a student’s education record without consent from the student, even if the student is under the age of 18. A student can provide a parent or other specified individual access to their education record by signing a Student Release of Information form. The individual granted access must appear in person with photo identification; no information can be given by phone.
Final grades are available to students on MyAACC. The college does not mail final grade reports. AACC releases grades and transcripts only to the student unless the student has authorized release by signing a Student Release of Information form.
The interim grade is intended to be an early indicator of a student’s performance and is graded satisfactory, unsatisfactory or unsatisfactory due to nonattendance. Only students receiving an unsatisfactory interim grade will receive a notice. Interim notices are mailed to the student’s address on file approximately five weeks after the start of the term.
Students must request verification of enrollment and/or good student discounts in writing using the Verification of Enrollment form. A minimum of 12 credits is considered full-time enrollment at AACC.
Students must apply to graduate from AACC. Visit our graduation webpage for information.
