
Intercollegiate athletics at Anne Arundel Community College not only provides a competitive program that cultivates the skills & values inherent in competitive sports, but encourages and promotes the transfer of student-athletes into four-year institutions. We are affiliated with the Maryland Junior College Athletic Association (MD JUCO) & the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

- Student-athlete awards winners & Alan Pastrana -2012 Hall of Fame Inductee honored at annual AACC awards ceremony May 2, 2012
- Women's lacrosse defender Cori Karoly is the MD JUCO Student Athlete of the Month for April
- Golfers qualify for nationals! AACC's Brendan Ahrnsbrak (164) won the NJCAA Men's Golf Region 20 Division III medal for individual play on the second hole in a sudden death play-off and returning sophomore Chase Smith took 5th shooting 192. Both qualify to play in the national championship at the Chautauqua Golf Course; Chautauqua, N.Y. June 4-8, 2012
- AACC softball & women's lacrosse are region champions - Hosted by AACC May 4-6, 2012.
The Pioneers softball team captured the Region & District championship titles. Women's lacrosse took the Region title, but was handed their first loss of the season by Nassau, 8-7 to fall short in the district. Both teams qualify for upcoming national championships.
