Do you need to improve your basic reading, math or writing skills to prepare for the General Educational Development (GED) test or entry level employment? If you have some foundation in reading, writing and math, and are ready to take it to the next level, AACC’s Adult Basic Skills (ABS) classes may be just what you need. Students who master these classes, may then enroll in our GED Preparation classes.
If you think you are ready to take the Official GED test but want to make sure, register to take the Official GED Practice Test at AACC for only $20. You can review your results immediately and plan your next steps. Pre-registration is required.

Step up to Success
If you are between 16 and 21 and need to prepare for the GED exam, AACC’s Step Up To Success program may be for you. Qualified students not only gain essential skills to succeed on the GED test, but also explore careers and college majors, learn to dress for success, polish their computer skills, write a resume and ace the job interview. Students also hear guest speakers, attend field trips, receive job search assistance, and get tutoring if needed.
