Teach for Us

Do you want to help adults improve their basic skills? Do you want to help someone earn a High School Credential (GED)? Do you like the challenge of  teaching different subjects to students on multi-levels?  Join our instructional team! The Adult Basic Skills office is always looking for well-qualified applicants to become part-time faculty.

To teach in the Adult Basic Skills or GED program you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience teaching Adult Basic Education or GED, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include some days, evenings and weekends
  • Ability to teach multi-levels in the same classroom. 
  • Strong organizational skills for managing and completing administrative paperwork.

The salary range is $24-26/hour based upon experience and qualifications.
