CPA (Financial Accounting Certificate) Required Courses

FIRST YEAR:
COM 111(Fundamentals of Oral communication),
BPA 211(Principles of Accounting),
BPA 142(Principles of Management ),
ECO 211(Principles of Economics 1) ,
BPA 212( Principles of Accounting 2),
MAT 135 or BPA 232( Elementary or Business Statistics),
ECO 212(Principles of Economics 2),
BPA 125( Marketing Principles),
BPA 162(Business Communications), and an acccounting elective. 30 semester hours for first year.

Second Year:
BPA 241 (Intermediate Accounting),
BPA 261 (Cost Accounting),
BPA 262 (TaxAccounting),
BPA 256(Financial Managment,
BPA 253 (Business LawI),
BPA 242 (Intermediate Accounting,
BPA 263 (Auditing),
BPA 138 (Business and Professional Ethics, and Accounting Elective. 27 semester hours.
