Learn to write effective introductions and conclusions using the classical model of argumentation. Learn how to build an effective, well-organized and coherent essay around a strong thesis statement with corresponding topic sentences. This workshop will be a combination of presentation and hands-on opportunities. Bring your own examples, questions and drafts in progress, if you'd like!
This workshop is only available online. To attend a live, online workshop, you must:
- Log in to Canvas
- From any course of your choosing, click on Enroll in Virtual Writing Center on the left hand navigation bar.
- From the Virtual Writing Center page, click on the Zoom link on the left hand side and choose the workshop you'd like to attend.
If you wish to have your attendance documented for your professor, you must stay until the end of the workshop and complete a brief form.
