Cybersecurity, Networking and Digital Forensics

If you’re reading this, you’re likely using a device and accessing data needing care and protection. AACC’s Cybersecurity, Networking and Digital Forensics programs teach students about threats and vulnerabilities, prevention, detection, response and security management surrounding information technology.

We're proud to be recognized as a leader in cybersecurity education. As such, the department offers three associate degrees and eight certificates. Courses, events and clubs provide students hands-on experience with current tools and techniques, all guided by faculty with experience in the field.

Our graduates enter the workforce or continue their education in four-year institutions. Examples of jobs include:

  • Security Specialist
  • Information Assurance Security Specialist
  • Manager of Network and Data Security
  • Applications Security Specialist
  • Operating System Security Specialist

AACC is a designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Two-Year Education and National Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence.
