Cyber Analyst II - Practice Skills

Description: (140 Contact Hours/Non-Credit) The second course of the Cyber Analyst curriculum builds upon the concepts covered in Cyber Analyst I - Gain Knowledge. The course dives deep into networking fundamentals to give the student in-depth knowledge of how computer networks function. All concepts from Cyber Analyst I curriculum are enhanced to provide participants a deeper knowledge of network devices, routing/ Internet protocols, network security and critical thinking. Participants will be able to demonstrate what they have learned, through practical exercises in a state-of-the-art computer labs setting.  The CompTIA Security+ certification exam is included as a component of this course.

Format: In-person instructor led training.


1) Successful completion of Cyber Analyst I - Gain Knowledge; or

2) Knowledge of operating systems and hardware and/or CompTIA A+; and

3) Knowledge of basic networking concepts and/or CompTIA Network+.

Note: Course materials and one exam voucher per participant are included.  Ten participants are required for a course to run.  Course is subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met by registration deadline.
