Youth Dance Classes

AACC’s Youth Dance Instruction program offers young dancers excellent instruction in a supportive, noncompetitive learning environment. It focuses on advancing student’s ability, knowledge and appreciation of dance. Students are given the opportunity to discover and develop their talents, energy and interest as they pursue their unique potentials as dancers.

KDS-892 - Advanced Hip Hop for the Pre-Professional (Grades 6-12)   NEW
Improve your existing skills and learn challenging new breaking, locking and popping moves.

KDS-891 - Contemporary Dance (Grades 9-12)
Fuse modern, jazz and ballet as you explore a wide range of organic, often angular movements and syncopated rhythms with a strong base in classical technique.

YUT-878 - African Dance Sampler  (Grades 6-12)
Learn basic African dance techniques to get a sense of this dance style.

KDS-890 - Introduction to Ballroom Dancing (Grades 6-12)
Have a blast learning this social and recreational form of partner dancing. Try basic Latin, waltz and swing styles.
