Youth Dance Classes
AACC’s Youth Dance Instruction program offers young dancers excellent instruction in a supportive, noncompetitive learning environment. It focuses on advancing student’s ability, knowledge and appreciation of dance. Students are given the opportunity to discover and develop their talents, energy and interest as they pursue their unique potentials as dancers.

YUT-809 - Youth Dance Festival (Grades 3-11)
This highly structured two-week program is for motivated dance students. Experience a supportive, noncompetitive learning environment. Cover a variety of styles and techniques including ballet, modern, hip-hop, African, music for dancers and Pilates.
YUH-849 - Ballet I (Grades 2-3)
Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet. Focus on alignment, turnout and basic barre and footwork exercises.
YUH-852 - Ballet III (Grades 7-9)
Further develop your skills in classical ballet. Learn more challenging combinations and variations. Focus on clean execution and performance quality. Student must have the permission of the instructor to enroll.
YOT-813 - Break Dance/Hip Hop (Grades 3-10)
Get down and get funky with this fun, spirited dance form that has people's heads spinning! Learn footwork, popping, locking and combinations.
YUT-814 - Creative Movement (Ages 4-5)
Explore movement with basic ballet positions as the foundation. Discover and play with multiple rhythm and music patterns.
YUH-848 - Creative Movement II (Ages 6-7)
Continue to explore movement, with ballet positions as the foundation. Discover and move to multiple rhythms and music patterns.
