DINING SERVICES BUSINESS ASSISTANT
Hours: Monday - Friday, approximately 25 hours per week
Duties: The Business Assistant, Dining Services is primarily responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of daily reports, posting daily and web menus and assists with accounts payable. In addition, the Business Assistant provides general office support to the dining services managers and handles all catering internal and external contracts and invoicing.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize workflow, and ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously with attention to details, deadlines and accuracy.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity software (Word, Excel, and Publisher).
Experience with food service software highly desirable.
Experience in back office operations of a food service facility highly desirable.
Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with students, faculty, staff and the public, and to project a positive and professional image.
Must have a valid MD driver's license, clean driving record and be able to drive any vehicle provided by Dining Services.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, in order to meet the needs of the operation.
