Emergency Medical Technician Admissions

The first step to admission is to attend an orientation seminar. These informal seminars discuss admission and academic requirements, the application and selection process, and curriculum and career opportunities. Call 410-777-7318 for orientation dates and times.

Please note: First consideration will be given to candidates who are residents of Anne Arundel County at the time of application.  

Application Deadlines

  • The application deadline for the EMT-Paramedic class beginning January 2010 is September 15, 2009. If application deadline falls on a weekend, then applications will be accepted until the close of business on the next business day. Applications will be available in June 2009.

  • The application deadline for the EMT-Intermediate class beginning Fall 2009 is March 15, 2009.  If application deadline falls on a weekend, then applications will be accepted until the close of business on the next business day. Applications will be available December 2008.

Please note: A copy of your driver's license or other government issued photo id must be submitted with your EMT program application.
