Business Counseling Services are available in the Hatchery, AACC's Entrepreneurs and Small Business Resource Lab located on the Arnold campus in Careers 100.

Entrepreneurs soon learn that one of the keys to success is the ability to “wear many hats.” The entrepreneur must be multi-faceted and have an array of skills to compete in business at today’s rapid pace. Various business agencies are available as resources for even the experienced business owner to access, so they are able to learn new skills or update old ones, as well as to stay on top of changing trends and requirements in all industries.

Business advising provided by SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business

The Hatchery at the Entrepreneurial Studies Institute assists with timely advice from faculty members and from various sources within the local business community. We have access to over forty talented counselors with entrepreneurial experience who will be available by appointment to provide honest, straightforward advice about your business ideas, concepts, and plans. Arrangements for meetings with individuals or groups for FREE CONFIDENTIAL Business Advice can be facilitated through the Hatchery.

Organizations such as the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), and the Small Business Administration (SBA) have relationships with the Entrepreneurial Studies Institute. Business Legal Services are also provided through our legal services network with members of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association.

All sessions are free and confidential. You will be asked to complete a referral form that briefly describes your business idea, questions you have, issues you want to discuss, and/or information you are trying to gather.
