The Collegiate Entrepreneur's Club (e-club)
The AACC Collegiate Entrepreneur’s Organization (E-Club) is a newly formed organization on the AACC campus whose primary focus is to foster interest in the field of entrepreneurship and the development of sound entrepreneurial theory; to pursue opportunities of starting a business venture; to learn and improve methods and techniques of business management; and finally, to develop lasting relationships among student, faculty, staff and the business community.
COLLEGIATE ENTREPRENEURS' CLUB MEETINGS
Regular Meetings for the 2007-2008 school year will be held in HUM 014 on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
The agenda will include guest speaker events, trips, and fundraising plans.

Speakers and Workshops

Trips
Last year the club went on a behind the scenes tour of UnderArmour. This year in addition to going back to UnderArmour, we have a trip to York County, PA in the plans.
Networking Events
We have forged valuable relationships with The Entrepreneur’s Exchange, Annapolis/Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce and others in the county that have extended membership rates (and in some cases, no charge) for members to attend their events.
Business Plan Competition
Win money and get indispensable advice and critique of your business plan from the people at the core of the county’s economic development.
Free Legal Services
E-Club members are eligible to receive free legal services through our partnership with the Anne Arundel County Bar Association.
Business Advising and Office Resources
Club members have access to AACC’s Entrepreneur’s Resource Lab (also known as “The Hatchery”). This lab, located in CRRS 100, has the latest computer technology and office space for working on your business plan.
In addition, the club provides links to business resources and business advisors, faculty, and other influential members of the business community who are available to assist club members with their business venture planning. This includes access to the county's Small Business Resource Center at the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation in Annapolis.
Leadership Opportunities
There are many leadership opportunities available to E-Club members. Unleash your leadership potential by becoming an E-Club officer or by leading a committee. Join a dynamic team in increasing value of The E-Club to its members and benefit from the learning and experience gained from being apart of The E-Club.

Members of The E-Club get special discounts on CEO sponsored events and subscriptions of The Wall Street Journal & Entrepreneur Magazine.
