With more than 20 years of experience in business, management, and information services, Carlene Cassidy was a partner and Chief Operating Officer for a multi-million dollar regional computer consulting firm prior to joining Anne Arundel Community College. 

In addition, Carlene has managed mergers, acquisitions; and she has launched several start-up initiatives from a health care staffing office to her own consulting firm providing information systems and management consulting services to health care organizations, educational institutions and small service companies.Carlene has experience teaching a variety of business and technology subjects in both college and corporate environments. 

The Anne Arundel Community College Student Association awarded Carlene their highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award. She is also a YWCA TWIN Honoree and is included in the 2004, 2005, and 2006 Who’s Who Among American Teachers. 

She has a B.S. in Health Services Administration from Providence College and an M.S. in Information Systems and Telecommunications from Johns Hopkins University.
