ESI Degree Program and Certificates

“Generating ideas, hatching business, nurturing students’ success.”

AACC currently offers an AAS Degree in Entrepreneurship, an Entrepreneurship Certificate, a Culinary Arts Entrepreneurship Certificate, a Construction Management Entrepreneurship Certificate, and a wide variety of credit and noncredit courses designed to provide business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge and experience necessary to achieve long-term success in business.

Skills: During the required course, work skills developed include entrepreneurial thinking and opportunity recognition, developing a business plan, obtaining resources, managing finances, strategic planning, selecting managers and employees, organizing and designing the business, identifying and capitalizing on international opportunities, managing technology, and successfully dealing with managerial challenges.

Purpose & Range of Occupations

A degree in entrepreneurship provides you with the skills to start your own venture, work with others to identify business opportunities, join entrepreneurial ventures or work for an established organization. Therefore graduating students may obtain employment by launching their own business venture or working for any business in any industry including: construction, architecture, child care, personal care, food services, technology, engineering, accounting, financial services and more.

The college also offers a Culinary Arts Entrepreneurship certificate program and a Construction Management Entrepreneurship certificate program. Both certificates prepare students to launch and operate their own ventures or to take a leadership role in an existing business or organization.
