The first EOTM was Heather Howe for the month of February. She presented her business Fields Of Heather, a bakery that she currently runs out of her house. Fields Of Heather was started back in 2001 when Heather would create cakes for friends and family. It has grown from a handful of customers to a list of over 130 customers to date. Heather plans to move her business from her kitchen into a store front location on Kent Island. She has grown so much that she needs to expand to a larger location. She is having trouble financing this venture in these hard economic times, but she is still trying every avenue. She will not give up until she reaches her goal.
