In 2000, she relocated to Glen Burnie, Maryland where her father resides and thus began the 3^rd part of her life journey. As an office manager by day and limousine chauffeur by night, she acquainted herself with the Baltimore/DC area and its habits and habitants. Michelle attended and graduated from Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore in 2004. Upon completion she founded, financed, started and operated her own children’s passenger service, Travelin Tots & Teens, LLC.

Afterward, she met her youngest son’s professor and seeing the influence he had on her son, whom now is pursuing a career in law enforcement, she began her quest in the criminal justice field. Partnering up with the Professor, Robert Sherrod, they birthed Sherrod Private Investigation & Security Services, LLC in 2007. SPIeS offers armed, unarmed, uniformed and non-uniformed security officers for personal, residential and/or commercial property. SPIeS has a team of trained and professional private investigators for your investigative needs. Our mantra is “We show up on time, we do our job and we look good.”

Professor Sherrod is a professor at AACC in the Criminal Justice department, former Texas State Trooper, Master Police Officer and Vietnam Veteran. He holds a Bachelor of the Arts, Masters and PhD in the field of Criminal Law.

Michelle has assisted her daughter in starting and operating her cleaning service while still gaining knowledge, training and experience with SPIeS.

Seeking their niche in the industry and using their combined talents, SPIeS added a new service in 2009. SPIeS offers on site training for employees in security and safety.
