Send Us Your Story For 50 years, we've inspired students to meet their academic, job training and personal enrichment goals. Each AACC student has an inspiring story that we'd like to collect and share with our community. Whether you're a current or former student, faculty or staff member, we ask you to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For 50 inspiring years, AACC has been meeting community needs through education and job training.
Established in 1961, AACC’s first classes--all 48 of them--were held in the evenings at Severna Park High School. The classes were attended by 270 students and served by 33 faculty and staff.
Today, AACC proudly offers more than 2,800 courses, has 2,600 faculty and staff and is attended by more than 53,000 students.
We will be marking our celebration from fall 2011 through spring 2013. That’s 50 years from the time students entered our doors through the year we held our first graduation.
