A Great Day of Golf at The Club of South River with Friends of AACC!
The AACC Foundation hosted our Fifth Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 6th. The weather was perfect with sunny skies and the greens were in beautiful shape for the 108 golfers who participated to support student success at AACC! The Club at South River in Edgewater, Maryland was the perfect venue for this year's tournament. It was indeed, a wonderful way to enjoy a day away from the office in a beautiful setting with the company of good people who share a common bond, "Excellence in Education".

In these challenging economic times, we rely more than ever, on individuals, local businesses and corporations to help raise funds that will support student scholarships and special academic programs that are not possible through traditional funding sources. We are thankful for the support and generosity from everyone who participated in this year's tournament. It was a very successful and fun-filled day that will benefit students attending AACC. We will all ultimately benefit as Anne Arundel Community College continues to send graduates out into our workforce to help support and promote
the future of Anne Arundel County.
Next year, our Sixth Annual Golf Tournament will be part of
AACC's 50th Anniversary Celebration!
It is sure to be a milestone event. Mark your calendars now for June 2012 and look for a
tournament Save-the-Date in early spring. We hope you will encourage your friends and colleagues to be part of this very worthwhile fundraising event. In commemoration of our 50th, we hope to double our 2012 sponsorships, foursomes, tee sign purchases, and donations. Your generosity will add to the success of our tournament while celebrating 50 years of "Excellence in Education" and "Students First" at AACC.
Make 2012 the year that you support education!
