applied foresight... using the perspective

While human migration has its origins in ancient times, many futurists agree that human migration is one of the "super trends" shaping our global future. The Migration Policy Institute provides analysis and evaluation of migration and refugee data and policies at local through international levels. Its work stems from the belief that the development of well-informed, humanitarian policies will promote social and economic strength, and enhance international security. The Migration Information Source is the institute's online journal.

futures thinking... looking ahead

Europe's Rosetta spacecraft is on track to land on a comet in 2014. Comets are remnants of our early solar system, and this mission seeks to  investigate the conditions prevailing during the construction of our solar system.
