An Invitation to Participate in an Idea Incubator
November 1, 8, and 15 2011
The Idea Incubator matches the needs of community clients with the brainpower of college students. This 21st Century work uses creative problem solving strategies to supply new thinking for difficult problems.

We're partnering with IF at AACC. IF@AACC promotes futures thinking, fosters innovation and engages learners in the art of foresight.  Acting as a catalyst for creativity, it develops futures expertise, provides futures tools and creates partnerships. Please see our national recognition for the Idea Incubator in the League for Innovation December 2009 Innovation Newsletter.

FIG strives to:
  • Promote futuring and foresight and activities there related in our communities.
  • Promote collaboration of students, faculty, administration and alumni.
  • Provide easily accessible resources outside of the classroom to support futuring and foresight.   
  • Provide opportunities to learn how peers, local and global futurists, have dealt with challenges they have encountered on the road to understanding and addressing their own as well as societal futures.
  • Sponsor activities that provide incentive for students to learn and use futures tools to pursue their own futures and create better local and global communities.
  • Provide an opportunity for networking and social interaction among persons who share a common interest in futuring and foresight and activities there-related.
