Certain schools at AACC must address state requirements for their internships, and consequently have staff specifically dedicated to attend to those issues and to guide students that must have particular credentials certified. Examples of such disciplines include those within the Institute of Criminal Justice, Legal Studies & Public Service and the School of Health Professions, Wellness and Physical Education. Institute of Criminal Justice, Legal Studies & Public Service
The Institute provides internships for students in the following majors: criminal justice, paralegal studies, law and social practice, forensic science and juvenile justice.

School of Health Professions, Wellness and Physical Education
All of the health professions programs have internship-like requirements embedded in the program.
