What is the job outlook?
Employment of graphic designers is expected to increase by 13 percent through 2018, which is about as fast as the average for all occupations. Individuals with website design and animation experience are projected to be in high demand, as the demand increases for design projects for interactive media, including websites and mobile phones. The average annual salary for graphic designers in Maryland is $55,900. The average salary for webmasters and administrators is $69,700.

What courses will I take?
Students must successfully complete the following noncredit courses sequentially within the same term.
CTC-328 - Photoshop: Web Graphic Design
CTC-329 - Flash: Web Graphic Design
CTT-397 - Dreamweaver: Web Graphic Design
CTT-374 - Adobe Acrobat
CTC-352 - Concept to Layout: Web Graphic Design
What credentials can I earn?
Upon successful completion students earn an AACC continuing education certificate. To receive the certificate students complete and submit the form to our office. The form and instructions can be found at www.aacc.edu/coned/certificates.
What will it cost?
$1,606 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees
What are the requirements?
Students must be 16 years old and have general knowledge of computer hardware and software. To be successful in the training, a design background is helpful, but not required.
