Monna Gayle Clark, J.D. is a full, tenured professor who joined the full-time faculty at Anne Arundel Community College in 1976. She was instrumental in formalizing the paralegal program at AACC. Professor Clark's teaching assignments have included Business Law I, Business Law II, Legal Research, Legal Writing, Legal Ethics, and Real Estate Principles. She developed the online and hybrid versions of Business Law I and II aided by her completion of a noncredit AACC certificate in Web Design. She maintains her legal studies through the Maryland State Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education program. Licenses by the Maryland Bar, she acquired her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law with honors and was awarded the Order of the Coif. She served as a judicial law clerk for Maryland's Court of Special Appeals. Professor Clark earned her Bachelor's degree at Dickinson College, cum laude, where she majored in English and minored in Education and Spanish.
