Request Items Our Library Does Not Own
If you need something we do not own, the Library can borrow books from other libraries and obtain photocopies of articles for your use. This service is called Interlibrary Loan (or ILL for short) and is usually free of charge. You must have an AACC Student ID or Library Card in order to complete the form.
To Submit a Request:
- Select the appropriate form
- Submit the information requested
- We will contact you
- When the material arrives
- If there is a problem obtaining the material
It typically takes up to ten business days for us to receive materials. They can be picked up at the Library's Circulation desk. Occasionally articles are received in electronic form and can be e-mailed to you. Books borrowed from other libraries are usually available for 28 days.
