Welcome to Lifelong Learning

Whether you’re young or young at heart, we have learning opportunities for you! With noncredit classes for students from 18 months to 99 years, here at AACC the whole family can enjoy new educational experiences!

What We Offer

Lifelong Learning classes can help you develop new skills, explore fascinating topics and satisfy your curiosity in classes designed just for you! Our instructors personalize your learning experience with small, interactive classes.

Classes are offered year round at:

  • multiple locations
  • in classroom settings
  • online

Adult Programming

If you’re 16 or older, Lifelong Learning offers over 1,300 adult classes covering a wide variety of subjects including Recreation and Fitness, Health, History, Home and Garden, Fine Arts, Languages, Personal Growth, Writing, and more. Certificate Programs: Want to focus your learning to refine your current job skills or prepare for a new career direction? We offer Floral Design, Photography, Sign Language and Fine Arts may lead you in new exciting directions.

Women’s Institute: With a broad range of classes including home repair, business, creative pursuits and women’s wellness, enjoy the company of other like-minded women empowering yourself with new skills, and enriching your life with new experiences.

Youth Programming

Summer: Kids in College is best known for our summer youth programs that ensure learning in a safe, fun, camp-like atmosphere. Classes are offered for children 18 months thru 18 years in: Theater, Art, Music, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Culinary, Sports, Crafts, Magic, Circus and much more.

School year: We offer classes after school and on Saturdays covering a wide variety of interests. In addition we have Explore, an enrichment program for gifted and talented youth co-sponsored with Anne Arundel County Public Schools, for students K- 8th grade.
