For the third consecutive year, The Legal Studies Institute at Anne Arundel Community College will host a panel discussion on domestic violence Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Cade Center for Fine Arts Room 219 and is open to the community.
The panel, “A Panel Discussion on Domestic Violence: #NOMORE…Know More,” will bring together legal and community experts to address domestic violence issues and cases within Maryland. The pane will focus on warning signs to watch for, the prevalence of domestic violence in our community, relationship violence in the LGBT community and strategies for how to help someone you suspect is a victim of domestic violence. You’ll also hear a personal account from a domestic violence survivor.
