Free Nov. 9 event to feature campus tours, demonstrations and hands-on learning activities.

Arnold, MD – Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) will host an Open House from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at its campus in Arnold. This event is a great way to learn more about all that AACC has to offer – whether you’re a high school student looking to start working on a degree program, already in the workforce and considering changing or advancing your career, or interested in taking a class for personal enrichment.

Guests will be able to talk with faculty, advising and other key college staff, as well as learn more about admissions, financial aid, scholarships and internships.

Throughout the evening, visitors also will be able to:

  • Learn about more than 100 degrees and certificates offered.
  • Take a campus tour.
  • Participate in hands-on learning and live demonstrations.
  • Check out musical performances.
  • Explore the vibrant campus life, including about 70 students clubs.
  • Enter to win giveaways for AACC gear, gift cards and more.

AACC’s Open House will take place in the Jenkins Gymnasium, 101 College Parkway, Arnold. The event is free and open to the public, but preregistration is highly encouraged. For information contact AACC’s admissions office at 410-777-2246 or askaacc@aacc.edu.
