Jan. 21, 2005

Business

Get help in running or starting your own business by signing up for “Fast Trac Entrepreneur Training” (BNS 510), a course written by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs that begins Feb. 1 at Anne Arundel Community College.

The 15-session, noncredit continuing education course meets from 6 to 9:15 p.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 1-May 17, at the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway.

The Kaufman Entrepreneurial Foundation in Kansas City, Mo., developed the program that offers practical solutions and hands-on instruction in the key concepts of marketing, market position, finance, customer relations, operations, growth and funding. Teaching the class are certified instructors and seasoned entrepreneurs.

The course should give participants a more focused business plan. An added benefit is meeting other area entrepreneurs to help with networking.

The $995 course includes an interactive CD-ROM. Those who complete the course receive continuing education units. Registration is under way. For information or to sign up, call 410-777-2325.
