Audition for a role in Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” also known as “What You Will,” to join the award-winning Anne Arundel Community College Moonlight Troupers drama club on stage this spring.

        The Moonlight Troupers will present this fast-paced story of mistaken identity, unrequited love and carousing knights on April 13-15 and 19-22. Written in 1601, the play is considered among the best of Shakespeare’s comedies.

        Auditions begin at 7 p.m. Monday or Tuesday, Jan. 29 or 30, at the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the Arnold campus. Callbacks are at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31.  The cast will include six to 10 men, ages 18-40, and four to seven women, ages 18-35. Roles cast as males include Orsino, a powerful nobleman who proclaims himself lovesick for Olivia; Antonio, Malvolio, Sebastian, Sir Andrew, Sir Toby and Valentine. The three roles cast as women include Olivia, Viola and Maria.

        Come dressed for movement exercises. Men should wear dress shoes and women should wear character shoes.
