Homeland Security Preparedness Focus of Briefing

Learn to reduce workplace hazards and train employees on proper safeguards in the event of an emergency at the spring breakfast business briefing, "Homeland Security and Your Business" Wednesday, March 29, at Anne Arundel Community College at Arundel Mills.

Sponsored by AACC, the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, this 7:30-9 a.m. briefing presents companies with options. Learn to improve the odds of success during a disaster and minimize or prevent losses before they occur.

Join business executives at this free event featuring John Wenzel, vice president of safety and emergency management at Pilar Services Inc., as the keynote speaker.

Now a safety consultant to the United Nations, Wenzel is a former compliance inspector for Maryland Occupational Safety and Health with experience gained in hundreds of small business safety inspections. Learn why so many small businesses fail in an emergency and discover fast and easy ways to keep workplace safety hazards at a minimum.
