Administrative Professional Officers Installed

July 15, 2005

Education

The Anne Arundel Community College student chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals recently installed four officers for the 2005-2006 year.

Mary Lee Seaman, CPS, president of the Delaware-Maryland-District of Columbia division of IAAP, installed Rebecca Baker of Crownsville, president; Deborah Jackson of Glen Burnie, vice president; Jessica Ward of Crofton, treasurer; and Marian Rankine of Crownsville, secretary. All are May 2005 graduates of AACC’s Business Support Specialist program.

The student IAAP chapter is open to all students enrolled in at least one business curriculum class at AACC. It provides an opportunity for students to prepare themselves for the business world, network with students and professionals and to seek excellence in their future careers.

Professionals and students at other educational institutions are eligible for membership in the Black-Eyed Susan Chapter, which meets at AACC on the second Tuesday of every month, except for July and August. The next general meeting is Tuesday, Sept 13, at AACC.

For information, contact Erna Ray, student chapter adviser, by e-mail, esray@aacc.edu or phone 410-777-2247.
