2007 Who's Who List Features Nine AACC Students

Anne Arundel Community College students continue to pile up accolades as nine students have been named to the 2007 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges.
Nominated by AACC faculty and staff, students were chosen based on selective criteria including academics, athletics, leadership abilities, community service and participation in student activities. A selection committee of college faculty and staff members made the final decision.
The AACC honorees are: Andrea Abdul-Haqq of Odenton, Emily Capone of Edgewater, Donald Cooke of Pasadena, Gideon Fernandez of Crofton, Angela Haney of Annapolis, Kathleen Harrington of Stevensville, Julia Higgins of Linthicum Heights, Katie Shewbridge of Millersville and Amanda Taylor of Gambrills.
Since 1934, the Who's Who program has honored outstanding student leaders for their scholastic and community achievements. The award honors students at more than 1,900 public and private schools in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. For information, visit the Who's Who Web site.
