Would you like the community to see how talented you are? Consider entering your artwork for display in “Heliotrope Bouquet 9,” a cool summer treat for local artists.
All artists in the area may submit up to two pieces of art which have not been shown at the college for the open, all-media exhibit at the John A. Cade Center for Fine Arts Gallery at Anne Arundel Community College. There is no juror for this show and no entry fee. All work entered is displayed.
Take your artwork, with an entry form attached to each piece, to the gallery, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday or Wednesday, June 5 or 6. Artwork does not need to be matted and framed. Unmatted work will be pinned to the wall. The gallery will provide pedestals for sculpture.
The exhibit opens Monday, June 11, and will continue through Monday, July 16. Plan to pick up artwork between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, July 17 through 19.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays. For information, visit the Community Show Web site or call Chris Mona, gallery coordinator, 410-777-7028. The gallery is at 101 College Parkway in Arnold. The entry form for the show is available on the Web site.
