Three Anne Arundel Community College students in the Paralegal Studies program were awarded for their academic and professional achievements with top honors at the 2007 Student Association Honors and Awards Ceremony and Reception.
Katherine A. Voss of Annapolis received the J. Lynne Wood Award for outstanding service to the legal community. Voss, who has a 4.0 GPA, is a Supplemental Instruction course leader for “Introduction to Paralegal Studies and Criminal Law.” She plans to attend the University of Baltimore Bachelor of Arts degree program in jurisprudence in the fall and then go to law school. She hopes to enter the corporate law field.
Claudette M.G. Sherman of Annapolis and
Jeanette G. Willsey of Ellicott City both received West’s Paralegal Student Award for Academic Excellence. Both students are graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
