AACC Artwork on Display at Barnes & Noble

Artwork by more than 30 students and instructors in the noncredit continuing education art program at Anne Arundel Community College goes on display Aug. 1-31 at a special exhibit, "Artistic Impressions," at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Annapolis.
This fifth annual AACC exhibit at the Barnes & Noble showcases work in the mediums of drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and stained glass. Meet the artists, ages 20 to 80-plus, at a free reception at the bookstore café from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7.
An AACC representative will greet guests and provide information about fall term noncredit continuing education studio arts and crafts courses, which range from a basic introductory to advanced skill level. Classes meet in day, evening or weekend sessions throughout the county.
Exhibit viewing hours are 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sundays.
