Child Abuse Center Addresses Attacks on Children

      The executive director of the Baltimore Child Abuse Center will address “The Attack on Children” on Wednesday, March 17, in a presentation at Anne Arundel Community College’s Arnold campus.

      Adam C. Rosenberg, Esq., executive director, will speak from 10 a.m.-noon to an audience of students, faculty and the general public as part of the AACC Homeland Security and Criminal Justice Institute Engaged Scholarship Series. The free event, which includes a question-and-answer session, takes place in the Center for Applied Learning and Technology Room 107.

      Rosenberg will cover state statistics on child abuse, the nature of the abusers, types of abuse, the impact of the abuse on the children and the community, and the resources and support available for young abuse victims. Established in 1987, the Baltimore Child Abuse Center is dedicated to helping victims of child sexual abuse in Baltimore City.
