Campus Current Offers Q&A with Baltimore's Rod Daniels

      Spend a Saturday afternoon with Baltimore WBAL TV news anchor Rod Daniels on April 24 when he comes to Anne Arundel Community College to share his experience as the longest continuing anchor in the Baltimore market and discuss the Journalism field.

      Daniels will take the stage with AACC Campus Current student newspaper co-editor Matt Hagerman at this free event, which begins at 2 p.m. in Humanities Building Room 112 on the Arnold campus. Hagerman will interview Daniels, who also will take questions from the audience. Topics will include Daniel’s experience as anchor, the role of the media in the Baltimore market and his advice for new journalists.

      Daniels anchors the station’s 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts and has worked for WBAL TV since 1984. He graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications.
