AACC Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Wins Commendation

     The Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society awarded Anne Arundel Community College’s Omicron Theta Chapter a special commendation during the Middle States Region Regional Convention for fulfilling all requirements to be named a Four Star Chapter.

      The chapter also was recognized at the society’s recent annual convention. The society today has more than 2 million members in 1,200 chapters in colleges and universities nationwide and in the U.S. territories, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Germany, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, United Arab Emirates and Palau.

      AACC this year inducted 388 students into its chapter. To be eligible, AACC students must have completed 15 hours of coursework with a grade point average of 3.5. For AACC chapter information, call Chris Storck at 410-777-2219 or e-mail cmstorck@aacc.edu.
