With fall credit classes set to begin Monday, Aug. 23, Anne Arundel Community College reminds students to plan ahead to avoid traffic congestion in and around the Arnold campus, Glen Burnie Town Center, AACC at Arundel Mills and neighborhood sites.
A projected enrollment increase – students are still signing up for classes – will place increased demand on the college’s parking lots. Check mass transit schedules to verify bus routes and arrival times.
AACC officials urge students to consider carpooling to class for the first week or two, ride mass transit, arrive early for morning or evening classes. Be sure to get familiar, before you arrive on campus, with building locations. View the campus map online
AACC will post greeters near the parking lots in the morning on the first two days of classes to help with directions and questions. Class locations sometimes change in the final days before the term begins to accommodate larger class sizes so verify the location online before you arrive. Other helpful information to view before arrival: parking tips, car pool information, and mass transit information.
