Sept. 3, 2010

Members of the public are welcome to join Anne Arundel Community College students on Thursday, Sept. 9, when TV and film actor Wayne Duvall discusses the realities of show business today.

Duvall’s work includes roles in “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” (Homer Stokes); “Duplicity”(Ned Guston); “Leatherheads” (Coach Ferguson) and TV shows such as “Law and Order” and “The District” (2000-2004). A University of Maryland College Park graduate, Duvall has worked with film stars such as George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Morgan Freeman, Mel Gibson and the Coen Brothers.

The Silver Spring native will work privately with several acting classes at AACC and then, from 3:30-5 p.m., give a public presentation about the reality of life as a TV and film actor. The public presentation sponsored by AACC’s Cultural Events Committee is in Humanities Building Room 112 on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway.
