AACC Students, Faculty Exhibit Works at Barnes & Noble
The Anne Arundel Community College School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies in October is hosting its 10th annual art exhibit, “Create A Vision,” featuring works by two dozen noncredit adult art students and instructors.
See the talented artists’ works on display Oct. 2-30 at Barnes and Noble in the Annapolis Harbour Center. Meet the artists at a free reception at the Barnes and Noble café from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5.
The free exhibits feature works in drawing, painting, printmaking and photography. The students demonstrate a wide variety of formal and informal art training backgrounds.
AACC’s Office of Lifelong Learning offers a wide variety of noncredit visual arts and craft courses for adults each term. Courses are designed to provide mastery of basic skills to more advanced techniques. The program coordinator will attend the reception to greet guests and provide information on noncredit art classes.
