Ticket Sales Under Way for "A Funny Thing Happened..."

      Tickets are now on sale for the Theatre at AACC’s fall comedy musical, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” Nov. 5-14 at the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the Arnold campus.

      Written by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with music by Stephen Sondheim, this classic musical combines a setting in ancient Rome with time-tested comedy. Follow the classic tale of the slave Pseudolus as he tries to gain his freedom while helping his young master gain true love.

      The family-appropriate theatrical production is directed by Lars Tatom, AACC assistant professor of performing arts. The show opens on Friday, Nov. 5, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 14. The curtain rises at 8 p.m. for Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances and at 2 p.m. for the Sunday matinees.

      Tickets are $20 general admission, $12 for seniors, students other than AACC students, AACC employees and groups, and $5 for students with a valid AACC student ID. Seats are reserved for all shows. Make reservations by phone or e-mail at 410-777-2457 or boxoffice@aacc.edu. Walk-up box office hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. weekdays and weekends when the box office is open for events. The box office is in the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the Arnold campus.
