Feb. 11, 2011
Education

Anne Arundel Community College encourages Fort Meade area residents to take advantage of 10 credit and noncredit classes that start March 14 or April 4 at Meade High School.

Plan now to make your evenings count this spring!

Earn three college credits in only eight weeks in classes that meet requirements for many AACC degree and certificate programs. Business communications, speech, introduction to literature, U.S. history, developmental psychology and elementary Spanish are all available one or two nights per week starting at 6 p.m. Registration is under way; call 410-777-2340 or visit www.aacc.edu/recreg or www.aacc.edu/meade.

Know someone who needs to learn English? To sign up for an “English Basic Skills” (EBS 015) class that starts April 4, call the AACC English as a Second Language office at 410-777-2901.

Get your feet moving in the noncredit dance courses, “Ballroom Dance” (DAN 351) or “Salsa Swing Combination” (DAN 357) offered on Monday nights April 4-May 2. Partners are encouraged but not required. In the ballroom dance class, master basic rhythms and steps of the waltz and foxtrot. In the “Salsa Swing Combination” class, have fun learning the two hottest dances around. Information on registration for these two classes is available at www.aacc.edu/noncredit or 410-777-2340.
